In plain language

We collect what is needed to know you are real, to attribute your work, and to pay you. Your identification number is checked and then held as a result, not as a copy of your document, and it is never shown to a Builder or to another contributor. Notes you log from Client conversations reach a Builder only in aggregate, never with a Client attached to them.

The same promise on all three documents

No contributor pays anything to join, to learn a Listing, to sit the Viva, to verify who they are, or to be paid. Commission is flat and single-level: one Vouch Rate, applied once, to one settled Client payment. Nothing anyone earns depends on how many other people are on Spondea, and no payment of any kind is made for bringing another contributor onto the platform.

This paragraph is one stored sentence rendered on every page of this set. If it ever reads differently in two places, that is a defect — write to us and we will fix the document, not the wording.

The clauses

8 clauses, none of them long.

  1. 01

    What we collect, and why

Your name and phone number, so we can reach you and pay you. Your identification details, so we know you are one real person. The Intros and service work you log, so attribution and Splits can be settled. Your Viva transcripts, so a Badge can be defended. Payment records, so the Ledger balances.

  2. 02

    Identity verification data (Smile ID)

To verify you, your full name, date of birth, identification number and a liveness selfie are sent to Smile ID, which checks them against the national register. What comes back and is kept is a pass or fail, a reference, and the date — not a copy of your document. The liveness selfie is deleted 90 days after the check. Your identification number is never shown to a Builder, to a Client, or to another contributor.

  3. 03

    Viva certification data

Your Viva transcript — the questions put to you, your answers, and the examining agent’s scoring notes — is stored against your Book and kept for as long as the Badge stands plus twelve months, so a challenged pass can be re-examined rather than argued about. A Builder sees the outcome, the Listing and the date. A Builder does not see the transcript.

  4. 04

    Conversation notes and Field Intelligence

Notes you log after speaking to a prospect are combined into aggregate Field Intelligence for the Builder. A quoted line reaches a Builder only where five or more independent conversations said the same thing, and never with a name attached to it. A Client’s personal details are not part of what a Builder receives.

  5. 05

What a Builder sees about you

Your first name and the initial of your surname, your Badge, and your Book summary — what you certified in, what you won and how you serviced it. A Builder never sees your identification number, your phone number, or a Client’s personal details.

  6. 06

    Who else receives it

Smile ID, for the verification check. Your mobile money provider, to make a payment land. The model provider that runs the Viva, for the duration of the examination. Nobody else. Your data is not sold, not used to target advertising, and not passed on beyond what these three purposes require.

  7. 07

    Deletion and what survives it

Ask, and we close your account and delete your personal data. Ledger entries are not deleted; they are stripped of your personal details and kept, because a money record that can be erased is not a money record. Your exported Book stays yours.

    Changing this notice

Every change is published with a new version, a new effective date, and a line in the change log below. If a change widens what we collect, it applies from its date forward and we say so in the entry.

Change log

What changed, and when it took effect.

The version and effective date at the top of this page are read from the newest entry below, so a change cannot be published without moving the date. A change applies from its date forward: a Stream already running keeps the Vouch Rate its Account was won at.
